Valentino Rossi plans to end this year’s MotoGP season with victory in the series closing Valencia Grand Prix weekend. The Italian really want to give something that can be remembered in times finally as a Yamaha rider. As is known, starting next year Rossi will start a new round in the Ducati team.
Rossi will leave Yamaha after the shelter for seven years and won four world titles with him. Victory in Valencia Rossi’s dream is able to give a touch of magic with Yamaha for the last time. “Now we have come to the last series I was racing with Yamaha, this will be an emotional weekend,” said Rossi.
Rossi states desperate to win it. “It would be a beautiful memory, one excellent way to round out this cooperation (between himself and Yamaha),” he said. With the improved engine in Estoril, Portugal, Rossi claimed the more optimistic to get the highest podium in Valencia later. “Although it (Circuit Valencia) is not a track that fits with me in recent years,” he said.
In addition to targeting the podium first, the world champion last year was also desperate to be ranked at the second general standings. “I was in third place today, and it is not impossible I could go up ratings again,” he said. However, to achieve it, Rossi should be able to compete with Dani Pedrosa, who now occupy the second position. They are both only 19 points at odds.
Besides competing with Pedrosa, Rossi would have to take into account the world champion Jorge Lorenzo who became champion GP Estoril. Of course Lorenzo is also desperate to close the season with a victory celebration in Valencia, in his own house. “To me, this will be something very special, can end this season in front of the whole penggemarku,” said Lorenzo.
