Rossi Absence; Pedrosa and Stoner Are Still There

The absence of Valentino Rossi, Jorge Lorenzo made quite comfortably enthroned at the top of the standings. Although no The Doctor, Lorenzo wary of potential threats from Dani Pedrosa and Casey Stoner.
Injuries suffered by Rossi in the MotoGP free practice session of the Italian forces VR46 should step aside temporarily from the races this season.
That makes Lorenzo’s comfortable enough for the shot alone. So far the rider numbered 99 was enthroned at the top of the standings with 140 points, 47 points ahead of Dani Pedrosa in second place.
“With a situation like this means we could have a second or third place finish, while other drivers must hold first place finish until the end of the season. Obviously we want to win, but if it does not allow us to finish with the best results,” Lorenzo said, as quoted from MotoGP.com. (more…)
